हृदय की पुकार: जब मौन रहना भी अपराध बन जाए

कहाँ सो जाती है वो इंसानियत, कहाँ छिप जाता है वो भाईचारा, जब किसी बेबस और लाचार की चीखें बंद दरवाज़ों और सत्ता की दलीलों के पीछे दम तोड़ देती हैं?

सबसे बड़ा दर्द तब होता है जब रक्षक ही भक्षक बन जाएँ। जब प्रशासन के हाथ मदद के लिए नहीं, बल्कि प्रताड़ना के लिए उठें... और जब सरकारों और सेनाओं के आदेशों की आड़ में निर्दोषों पर जुल्म हो। ऐसी स्थिति में पत्थर भी पिघल जाते हैं, तो फिर हम तो इंसान हैं। हमारा मन कैसे न पसीजे?

अक्सर हम खुद को असहाय मानकर मुँह फेर लेते हैं, यह सोचकर कि "हम क्या कर सकते हैं?" लेकिन याद रखिए, हर बार हम मजबूर नहीं होते। हर अंधेरी रात में एक दीया जलाने का विकल्प हमारे पास होता है।
