Unfortunately, in many parts of the world, people are declared guilty by public opinion, social media, or authority figures long before any court decision. Such practices destroy lives, families, and reputations, and weaken democratic values. The World Human Rights Organization firmly stands against mob justice, media trials, and misuse of law. We believe that justice must be guided by law, fairness, and humanity.
Protecting the presumption of innocence is not about defending crime—it is about defending human rights. When this right is violated for one person, it threatens the freedom and security of all.

दोष सिद्ध होने तक निर्दोष माने जाने का अधिकार न्याय और मानव गरिमा का एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण स्तंभ है। इसका अर्थ है कि किसी भी व्यक्ति को, उसकी पहचान, पद, विचार या पृष्ठभूमि चाहे जो भी हो, तब तक निर्दोष माना जाना चाहिए जब तक कि सक्षम, स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष न्यायालय द्वारा उसका दोष सिद्ध न कर दिया जाए। यह अधिकार लोगों को सत्ता के दुरुपयोग, मनमानी सज़ा, सार्वजनिक अपमान और अन्याय से बचाता है।
इसी तरह निष्पक्ष और सार्वजनिक सुनवाई न्याय व्यवस्था की आत्मा है। न्याय केवल किया ही न जाए, बल्कि वह दिखाई भी दे। खुली और पारदर्शी सुनवाई से अदालतों की जवाबदेही बढ़ती है, पीड़ितों के अधिकार सुरक्षित होते हैं और समाज का न्याय प्रणाली पर विश्वास मजबूत होता है। जब फैसले सबूतों, कानून और तर्क के आधार पर होते हैं—न कि अफवाहों, मीडिया ट्रायल या राजनीतिक दबाव पर—तब लोकतंत्र मजबूत होता है।
दुर्भाग्य से आज कई देशों में लोगों को अदालत के फैसले से पहले ही दोषी घोषित कर दिया जाता है। सोशल मीडिया, भीड़ की मानसिकता और गैर-जिम्मेदार बयान किसी व्यक्ति का जीवन, सम्मान और परिवार तबाह कर देते हैं। विश्व मानवाधिकार संगठन मीडिया ट्रायल, भीड़ के न्याय और कानून के दुरुपयोग का सख्त विरोध करता है। हम मानते हैं कि न्याय का आधार कानून, निष्पक्षता और मानवता होना चाहिए।
निर्दोषता की यह धारणा अपराध का समर्थन नहीं है, बल्कि मानवाधिकारों की रक्षा है। यदि यह अधिकार एक व्यक्ति से छीना जाता है, तो यह पूरे समाज की स्वतंत्रता के लिए खतरा बन जाता है।
